Expansion of the Regional Schools’ Buying Hubs service in the South West

We are delighted to announce that the Schools’ Buying Hubs procurement support service, funded by the DfE, is now available to all schools within the South West. The pilot service has been working with 900 schools in the region since February 2018.

Here are some examples of how we have helped school in your region:

  • 233 schools saved between 6 – 13% on their water bills
  • £39,000 saved on a primary school catering contract

The Hub is a free of charge service. We can help you save money on your non staff expenditure. We offer:

  • advice and guidance on buying
  • support with complex contracts, in areas such as catering, cleaning, premises and technology services
  • promotion of local collaboration, where there is an opportunity to reduce costs
